It struggled to recall what it might be. Some rememberance of spirit, species, senses, anything. There must be some link to some time or place? Some origin of this focus, this ego...

What the hell is it? I just can't figure it out. There's this notion that I definately am here. These thoughts are being formed by something, so it must be me, right? But there's no inputs - no ripples from space around me, or time before. So why then, am I this I? The sucking vaccum of nothingness certinaly is no canvas to reside in. Yet I progress along some line of thought.

Language! I'm using language! It's all coming back to me now. I know what I'm thinking so there must be some reference from somewhere. These thoughts must be occuring in some language on some timeline. How exciting! Maybe if I look in --- huh? --- woah... Ok... So there's a center to me. I found it. I guess there had to be.
